Sample Papers

Practice exams written to the format of the DP Design Technology guide first assessed in 2027. Each paper is a PDF with the markscheme at the end. These are not IB papers and have not been reviewed by the IB.

Paper 1

Multiple choice. SL sits 30 questions in 1 hour and HL sits 40 questions in 1 hour 15 minutes. A calculator is required.

Paper 2

Structured and extended response questions. SL sits Section A and one Section B question in 1 hour 30 minutes. HL sits Section A and two Section B questions in 2 hours 15 minutes.
